Abuse

You might let your perpetrators fall in and let you win, taking away from your very essence. If you do so, you've let them achieve their very motives, to consume you. Abuse in its most raw form, really seeks to dominate and assert an insidious control over its victim. It does this by way of psychological tactics that reach deep within the psyche of its victim, leaving them feeling breathless. This vulnerability has most likely been created through early childhood experiences, leaving them susceptible to the grasp of opportunistic abusers. This cycle can be very hard to break, even the most dedicated will fall many times before they can get up once more. Many never go on to break the cycle, they simply perpetuate it and live a victimized life, continuing to spread the contagious dis-ease of their mind.

Fortunately, for those willing to become introspective and evaluate the details regarding what may lead to these series of unfortunate events, it can become an outlet of possibilities. If you are willing to let go of what occurred in your past, that is a start. You must be willing to accept yourself in the present. After that, you must be open to changing your thought process, your inner voice that has guided you since you can remember. All of these internal variables are what can enable a form of recovery to occur, which may never seem functional to outsiders, but will begin to exert a form of relief within the victim.

Where there is an ounce of hope, there is a way to come out, regardless of the depth of your spiritual hole. Once you realize your worth, your willingness to get better, you will then begin to achieve that. The universe will help you along the way, you just have to believe in the goodness of the world regardless of all of the bad that you have experienced. My best of wishes to you all that continue to push forward and face the demons around you and within. Continue to be grateful for all that you are and may you rejoice in your efforts in the long-term. Don't give up!
